A uniform fabric density and cover factor in warp and weft is essential for these high quality fabrics. We achieve this goal with our experience in electronically controlled cloth take-up motions and warp let-off systems.
Solutions with CREALET
The existing warp is split into two warp beams and each warp let-off is strengthened for the new demands. In order to avoid wear and tear on the existing mechanical cloth take-up, the unit has to be converted to servo-controlled technology.
A robust construction is also necessary for the second warp beam stand on top of the weaving machine. The special design of the back rest ensures a minimum deflection and ensures optimal operation.
The back rest for controlling the warp tension is equipped with two stationary fixed axes. Due to friction between the back rest and warp yarns, they are subjected to additional tension. The warp tension in the working zone is therefore greater than the tension at the warp beam.
The warp end specific characteristics often demand special back rest equipment and surface treatment processes for the back rest roller, without which successful use would not be possible. For carbon or specific filament applications a coating with an air cushion surface increases the reliability of weaving.
