The Solex warp let-off device is a conceptionally simple electronic regulating system for controlling the running off of narrow weaving bobbins and providing constant warp tension.
This system can be mounted quickly and easily on narrow weaving machines whatsoever. An angular feeler arm, used to generate the ground thread tension, is checked by a sensor in regard of its position.
Even the least change of position of this feeler arm, and thus of differences in the thread tension, is compensated immediately by the control of the driven components.
This system makes it possible to keep the thread tension of the narrow weaving bobbins constant over their entire range of winding diameter.

The Solex warp let-off is used everywhere where variating tensions cause more frequent yarn breakages, where irregularities in fabric quality due to thread tension are to be avoided or where their permeability and stability are influenced by changing warp thread tensions.
