Our close partnership in mechanical engineering with Schmid Maschinenbau AG is responsible for outstanding solutions. For complete assemblies or for specialty single items. Schmid is our supplier for our demanding tailor-made products.
Schmid has invested in several new machines including a GROB G550, a 5-axis universal machining center providing the best in today’s milling technology. The machine of 20 t weight is able to handle highly complex components at any angle, but also free running forms.
Schmid also purchased one lathe with sub spindle, which makes it possible to manufacture conventional components in a single pass. The second is characterized by its dimensions: it can handle cylindrical workpieces up to 300 cm in length and 600 mm in diameter.
