ITMA 2023 Review (with KAST ECR video)

An attraction at the ITMA 2023: the new KAST ECR

During the ITMA 2023 in Milan, Italy, CREALET had the opportunity to present the new warp let-off control KAST ECR on a Jakob Müller MD ribbon weaving machine.

In real-time operation, the different tension behaviour of the warp threads with and without control could be impressively demonstrated on the display of the ECR control.

The advantages of the ECR system lie primarily in the constant and uniform warp thread tension from the full to the empty warp beam, without having to handle weights.

The result is a high, reproducible fabric quality with lower machine load and higher efficiency.

The solution presented was a pre-series device. Due to the great demand, we have in the meantime made every effort to further optimise the solution shown and make it available for sale.
