Swissmem Director Dr. Stefan Brupbacher visited Crealet AG on August 15, 2023, to get an idea of the company’s activities.
Crealet, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, has been a member of Swissmem’s “Swiss Textile Machinery” section since its foundation. As Director of Swissmem, Stefan Brupbacher represents more than 1,350 companies and 320,000 employees, including 20,000 apprentices, on a daily basis.

What a company! Walked past CREALET AG for years on one of my favorite hikes, now I know what industrial pearl is located in Wald (ZH). Impressive how the 2nd generation is developing the products and leading the global market in their field of application. Super!
Andreas Wirz CEO of Crealet AG gave him an interesting insight into the development and manufacture of electronic warp yarn feeders in the textile high-tech sector. Crealet is a small innovative company whose products are used worldwide.
This was followed by a lively exchange about Swissmem’s services. Crealet is in the fortunate position of having an initiative and committed board in the “Swiss Textile Machinery” specialist group, which is also committed to small companies.
We are proud that Stefan Brupbacher is also interested in our company and thus shows us that we and our activities are taken seriously.
We appreciate Stefan Brupbacher’s uncomplicated and competent manner and think it’s great that, as a candidate for the National Council from Zurich, he also wants to be politically active on behalf of the population and businesses.
