Our sustainable stand concept at ITMA 2023

We pay close attention to sustainability

For the presentation of CRELAT products at ITMA 2023 in Milan/Italy from 8 to 14 June 2023, we will use our sustainable stand concept.

Trade fairs cause a whole range of environmental impacts: from the production of the exhibition stands, their transport and other logistical services to the waste generated during and after the trade fair. A large part of the materials and also most of the exhibition stands simply end up in the rubbish after the fair.

Crealet’s sustainable stand concept

Our stand concept focuses on minimal use of materials in stand design. We have already used the reusable LED light walls for the stand construction at ITMA 2019. The backlit textiles were redesigned according to themes. The textiles used are made of 100 percent recycled yarn obtained from PET bottles. This not only reduces the amount of plastic waste, but also the required energy consumption and thus CO2 emissions.

Sustainability in product development

The development of new CREALET products also focuses on technologies that consume less energy on the one hand and optimise energy consumption through intelligent software on the other.

The latest warp let-off control ECR does without the use of gears and mechanical drive components. The warp tension is generated by rope brakes, which are controlled by a linear motor. The software can be adapted to control the linear motor via an algorithm in such a way that, on the one hand, the energy requirement is reduced and, on the other hand, the fabric is produced in the desired quality. Our experts will be happy to inform you about these possibilities for optimising energy costs. Visit us at ITMA 2023 in Hall 6 Stand B306.
