Crealet AG Customized Warp Systems - Crealetter
THE CREALETTER No. 25 / December 2019

Welcome to the twenty-fifth issue of the Crealetter, our quarterly update with information and resources for professionals in the weaving and high-tech industries.
Today, you get to know our new Tension Meter LC, which, in combination with our Measuring Heads LC (for low tension and small yarn groups as well as for high tension and wide yarn groups), puts you in total control.

You can also learn about the details and advantages of our new BLDC control system for warp tension regulation, which has sparked a lot of attention at the ITMA 2019.

Our electronically controlled selvedge let-offs have now been completely redesigned: The warp tension is now measured entirely via load cells. The setpoint and actual values are shown on a display and allow a high reproducibility of the settings. Read more below.

With the very best regards,
Walter Wirz, CEO CREALET AG

INTRODUCING THE NEW TENSION METER LC

Gives You Total Tension Control.

Tension Meter LC by CREALET

This new Tension Meter was originally developed by CREALET on a precise customer request: Develop a precise warp tension monitoring on ribbon looms with negative warp let-off. Since this type of warp tension regulation usually cannot ensure a uniform warp tension from the full to the empty warp beam, serious problems can arise in the production of more sophisticated fabrics.

NEW BLDC CONTROL FOR WARP TENSION REGULATION

A Crowd-Puller at ITMA 2019.

BLDC control on warp beam frame

  • Designed for controlling two warp beams
  • High reproducibility
  • Ensuring optimum warp tension
  • Precise pattern reports
  • Reduction of the machine load
  • High performance and fabric quality
  • Transmission of the data to a central computer for further processing

INDIVIDUAL SELVEDGE TENSION

Electronically Controlled Selvedge Let-offs.

Electronically controlles selvedge let-offs

Unbalanced tension leads to processing problems and unevenness in the selvedge areas of the fabric. Affected are mainly high-quality technical textiles such as airbag and filter cloth. Sometimes up to 20% (!) of the production width can be unusable material!. Our units allow the warp tension to be adjusted individually in the selvedge area to minimize or eliminate floppy selvedges.
