This also means that you must break with old patterns of thinking. Our brain looks for, and focuses on, things that are consistent with our experience. When you aware of how our brain works and when you dare to break our fixed notions then you can reach a path that it is worthwhile to go.




Success is often characterized by unconventional ideas. In every field of activity there are new paths to go. In order to shape the future, you have to think sometimes unconventional. You have to leave analytical and conventional ways of thinking in favor of creative and unconventional thinking, which is sometimes not easy.

Unconventional solutions are first ignored, then are made ridiculous, then your competitor will fight against you, but in the end you have a winner.

The advertising campaign “Think different” by Apple in 1997 shows impressively what it means to break out of traditional thinking:
